Wanda Williams lives by a strong moral code: help others, be patient and kind, and do the work. Wanda has faced struggles in her life, but they have only made her stronger and increasingly convinced that more lawmakers are needed who are resourceful, resilient, and authentically committed to helping improve others’ quality of life.
As our next County Supervisor, Wanda is laser focused on the major challenges and priorities facing Solano County, including:
- Revitalizing our economy and shared prosperity as we transition out of the pandemic
- Developing a collaborative and comprehensive regional approach to address homelessness and invest in mental health services
- Creating more opportunity and access for underserved communities in our schools and career pipelines
- Bringing more resources to the Solano County Fire Department to improve responsiveness to wildfires
- Improving community safety through increased community policing, foot patrols, and youth diversion
- Investing in faster broadband Internet to help Solano residents, schools, and businesses
- Accelerating our transition to renewable energy and green infrastructure
- Preserving our open space and farmlands
- Affordable and workforce housing for all
